Our Teams

  • Rec Teams

    Our rec(reational) teams make up most of the climbing team as a whole. Each rec team meets once a week and consists of 15-25 people. Rec climbers are able to choose what day works best for them and have the option of climbing Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday from 7-9 pm or on Friday’s from 3-5 pm. Practices are run by our anchors, who act as team leaders for each specifi day, organizing rides, bondings, and offering optional workouts. These teams are best for people who want a casual climbing experience!

  • Training Team

    Our training team, or T-team, is our first coached team, offering a step up from rec in terms of commitment and intensity. T-Team is run by one of our incredible coaches, Karsten Grape, and meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Training team members are expected to climb at least twice a week and attend both practices. This team is best for people who want coaching experience whether they have been climbing for awhile or are new to the sport and interested in a higher level of training.

  • Competitive Team

    Our comp team is our second coached team with the highest level of commitment. Comp team is run by our second coach, Lawrence Osefoh, and meets on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Comp team members are expected to climb at least three times a week and attend USA climbing competitions during our spring season. This team is best for people with previous competition experience or a high level of commitment to training.
